Presence + Recording Policy
Healing-rooted leadership for women of the global majority. A sacred return to power, presence, and ancestral truth.
Presence + Recording Policy
This is a circle, not a stream.
Rise Together is a live, relational space.
It is not a course to binge later. It is a container of co-regulation, vulnerability, and sacred witnessing.
Your presence isn’t just helpful — it’s foundational.
This is where we practice being with ourselves and one another in real time, not from behind the safety of replay.
What You Can Expect:
Weekly live sessions with your cohort and facilitators
Guided rituals, discussion, reflection, and integration
Written recaps, prompts, and support for those who miss occasionally
A collective rhythm, not individual “consumption”
Will Sessions Be Recorded?
Not by default.
We protect the safety, privacy, and sovereignty of this space.
If we record anything at all, it will:
Only include facilitator-led teaching or grounding practices
Never include group sharing, discussion, or personal reflections
Only happen with full group consent
Be used solely to support those who miss, not to create content
If You Can’t Attend Live...
We understand. Life happens.
If you miss a session, we offer:
Written overviews of session themes
Guided journaling/reflection prompts
Optional community chat for re-connection
This is not about perfection.
But it is about presence.
When you show up, you shape the space. When you stay, you help us hold it.
Information for White Participants
Entering this space with care, not entitlement.
Rise Together centers women and femmes of the global majority.
This means Black, Indigenous, Brown, mixed-race, disabled, undocumented — those whose leadership has been historically erased, extracted from, or silenced.
White women are not excluded — but they are not centered here.
We are committed to protecting the psychological safety of our global majority participants.
Why This Matters:
Even well-meaning white participants carry unconscious behaviors shaped by white supremacy:
Dominating space
Seeking emotional caretaking
Centering discomfort
Spiritual or cultural appropriation
We are not here to replicate those dynamics — not even subtly.
What We Require of White Participants:
1. Pre-Participation Conversation
All white-identified applicants must complete a short intake call or written form. This is not a “test,” but a conversation about:
Identity, readiness, and patterns of harm
Capacity to be in shared space without centering whiteness
Willingness to receive feedback with humility
2. Participation in a White Cohort
White participants will begin in a separate cohort space. This is:
A protected container to unpack conditioning
Facilitated with care and accountability
Not a punishment — but a responsibility
3. Mixed-Space Invitations (By Alignment Only)
If and when a white participant is invited into the mixed cohort, it will be because they’ve demonstrated relational integrity and will not compromise the space.
This is not automatic. It is earned through trust and care.
This Is About Repair, Not Rejection
We believe white people can change.
We believe in co-liberation — when it’s built on accountability, not access.
You are welcome here — if you are willing to do your work in the right space.
Whiteness is not the enemy. Entitlement is.
